The HRO 500 M 6-Stage Direct Flow RO System includes 6 stages of water treatment:

1st stage: SDF 5 micron Particulate Filter . Made of 4 microfiltration layers of 100% pure polypropylene fibers. Removes: sand, dust, rust and other larger particles (> 5 microns). Compliant with FDA specifications.

2nd stage: Granular Activated Carbon GAC 1 micron filter . For filtering water that has a high concentration of inorganic metals and other contaminants. Removes : chlorine, lead, arsenic, cadmium, iron, pesticides, sulfates, certain metals and other harmful elements. Reduces high acidity and hardness of water.  

4th stage: 3 x RO Membranes ТW30-1812-200 with 0.0001 micron filtration pores:     High rejection of contaminants and has the capacity to produce treated water up to 190 liters per day. Removes  lead, copper, barium, chromium, chlorine, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrites, nitrates, selenium, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses. It also reduces water hardness.

5th stage:  Post Carbon Filter : Final filter made of high-performance activated carbon. Removes  free chlorine, odors, organic contaminants, pesticides, and chemicals that affect the taste and smell of water. 

6th stage:  Mineral filter for adding inorganic minerals to water. Adds essential inorganic minerals to the filtered water, such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and others, which contribute to your optimal biological function and development.  

Replacement of filters – membranes:

Stages – filters 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 must be changed every 6000 liters of water or once a year (whichever comes first) 

Osmosis membranes should be changed every 37,800 liters of water or every 2-3 years (depending on water quality)
